Day 1
Dar-es-salaam to town of Bagamoyo
You will be picked up at your destination in Dar-Es-Salaam and depart direct to Bagamoyo, on your arrival, we will explore the Kaole Ruins, which are remnants of the Shirazai trading town from the 13th to the 17th century, after this we will visit the crocodile farm, where crocodiles are housed prior to being transported, in the afternoon go for a hot lunch. After lunch visit the historical sites, such as the Caravan Serai, which was once the center of caravans traveling from the interior to the Indian Ocean coast; the Catholic Church, which was founded in 1868 when Livingstone slept there for a night before his body was transported to Zanzibar, cemeteries that contain the tombs of forty-seven early missionaries, and German structures like Old Boma and the Customs House, a day you will overnight at Bagamoyo Travelers Lodge. Morning beach relaxations later drive back to Dar-es-salaam
Beach relaxation day or you may choose to visit the Bagamoyo School of Arts for a Ngoma (traditional dance) class if you have advance notice. Otherwise, you will spend the morning at leisure on the beach. Additional fees apply, after this, take your hot lunch later drive back to Dar es Salaam, transfer to the hotel or airport, makes an end of our trip. Meal Plan (HB).
