The Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park) is the largest protected game reserve on the African continent covering an area of 54,600 square kilometers comprised of a vast wilderness with forests, grassy plains, mountains and open woodlands. This reserve was named after Frederick Selous Courtney who was a great Hunter and explorer. Selous Safari Holidays are highly recommended as in size this reserve is twice the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. You will be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam at around 3 AM or 4 AM. From there, you’ll travel to Mloka Village and continue to Mtemele Gate, the main entrance to Nyerere National Park. After entering the park, the full-day game drive begins, where you'll explore different habitats and spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and more. After lunch and more game viewing, you will be transferred back to Dar es Salaam, arriving at your hotel in the evening, that's makes an end of our trip.
